Cape Town Wedding Planner Reflection: Annette & Steve’s Soft Rustic Wedding
We’re very excited to share with you some of the pictures we took a this sweet and simple wedding that took place last May, in the Stellenbosch winelands. As Cape Town wedding planners, we can take joy in refelcting on our bigger and fancier weddings, as well as the smaller and sweeter ones as they bring a lovely sense of charm and romance that can sometimes get lost in the larger and more glamorous events.
This particular wedding was deocrated with white table clothes, lined with hessian table runners, and topped with a stunning variety of small and medium glass bottles, filled with soft flowers and glowing candles.
The glass vases and jars were further decorated with soft pieces of lace, tied with twine for a delicately detailed addition to the decor.
Together, the lace covered glass containers, with light pink flowers and glowing candles created a soft and romantic glow on all the guests’ tables.
Guests were treated to matching hessian pouches, filled with custom imported M&Ms and tied with a personalised note and soft twine.
The highlight of the evening was the incredible and quite spectacular cake and dessert table. The cake was an empressive tower of cupcakes, with a small cake for the couple to cut into at the top. Dont miss the adorable cake toppers in the picture!
A suitable companion to the incredible cupcake tower was an extraordinary display of mouth watering treats spread across the dessert table.
The dessert table included frosted biscuits, mini lemon meringues, white chocolate covered marshmellows…
…as well as white chocolate covered vanilla cake pops, white chocolate covered red velvet cake pops and fresh macaroons in assorted shades of pinks.
Just another wedding that makes us grateful to be Cape Town wedding planners and to be part of such beautiful events.
