About Us

Our New York wedding planner office in New York City is run by Rachel Urban:

Born and raised in Texas, I moved to New York City to follow my dreams of planning weddings. I have planned weddings at The Plaza Hotel, The Rockefeller Center’s  Rainbow Room, Central Park Zoo, Ellis Island, The Bowery Hotel, The Hamptons, as well as upstate New York and Paris, France.

 After spending time in the city and building relationships with some of the best in the industry, I have developed my knowledge as a wedding planner and designer to confidently work with Nicolette Weddings to plan a worry-free event for you and your loved ones!

 My southern hospitality combined with my New York style and hard-work make me a relatable and trustworthy planner.

This includes an entire website, custom built for your wedding, where family, friends and out-of-town guests can check for information and updates on your big event such as venue and local tourist information, accommodation and car hire recommendations, photos, a countdown to the big day, information on your registry, and more.
  • Dress consultation and dress makers for bride and bridesmaids, mother of the bride as well as bespoke tailoring for the groom and best man.
  • Child care and au pair services

Our Process

To ensure the planning and coordination of your New York wedding is as stress-free and uncomplicated as possible, Nicolette Weddings offers several packages which range from assistance in sourcing and negotiating a venue, through to full wedding planning services for you to choose from, according to the degree of involvement you wish to undertake. These packages do not have any hidden costs and can be tailored to suit your individual preferences.

The process of having a stress-free and gorgeous New York wedding can be summarized in these easy steps:

Step 1: Contact Nicolette Weddings, by emailing us at newyork@nicoletteweddings.com, and please feel free to share any initial thoughts or ideas you may have for your New York wedding so far. We will then send you a quote and arrange a time for us to meet and chat about your wedding in more detail. This can be done in person, over the phone, or via Skype for busy couples or those who live abroad.

Step 2: After our initial chat, if you would like to proceed with booking us as your New York wedding planners, a 50% deposit will secure the booking and we will then get started with the planning immediately.

Step 3: Enjoy your wedding at a stress-free, well organized, and beautiful event, co-ordinated by your New York wedding planner at Nicolette Weddings.
