Cape Town Wedding Planner – Cape Town Wedding Perfection at Cape Point Vineyards

I am so excited to be blogging about a gorgeous real wedding that was planned and coordinated by Cape Town wedding planner, Nicolette Weddings. This intimate celebration was held in Cape Town last wedding season, on a perfect summers’ day, and came together beautifully!

Erica and Kenneth, a fun-loving couple from New York City, chose Cape Point Vineyards to host their Cape Town wedding, which enabled them to take advantage of the incredible sweeping views of the Noordhoek area below, where Erica chose to get ready, in her fabulous bride’s nest, with her excited bridal party.

Erica spoilt her bridal party with special pre-wedding gifts from Tiffany’s, of course.

In order to create this lush jungle wedding, we had to put the perfect dream team together and this meant enlisting Happinest Hire to supply all the gorgeous wedding decor, such as chairs, utensils, napkins, plates, glassware and more.

Happinest Hire also custom built these wooden frames which held the wedding lighting and floating foliage above the tables to create this overall jungle look.

We also needed an abundance of fresh and blooming flowers, which were supplied by Wildeflower Studio and added the wow factor to this Cape Town wedding.

One of my favourite parts of this beautiful Cape Town wedding, was the clear perspex sweetheart table, provided by Happinest Hire, and filled with flowers from Wildeflower Studio.

Another highlight of this gorgeous Cape Town wedding, was the champagne tower which offered guests a freshly poured glass of bubbly on arrival before the ceremony began, with that stunning Noordhoek view as a backdrop.

This Cape Town wedding ceremony was a vision to behold as Erica and Kenneth said their I do’s in front of their family and friends on the lawn at Cape Point Vineyards, with the sun setting over Noordhoek beach behind them.

An expert Cape Town wedding harp player was there to perform sentimental classical music as the gorgeous walked down the aisle.

We particularly loved this circular arch, provided by Happinest and covered in flowers by Wildeflower Studio.

After the ceremony at this destination wedding, it was time for the celebrations to begin, so cocktail hour was kicked off with the African sounds of a marimba band.

The newlyweds stepped out for some wedding couple shoot pictures during golden hour, while guests were enjoying their cocktails and canapes on the deck of the wedding venue.

This was also the perfect time for guests to find their seats on this gorgeous giant seating chart stand.

Guests then stepped into the wedding venue and had some time to admire the stunning flowers and decor that we had created for the special occasion.

We had one of Cape Town’s top wedding photographers, Abri Kruger, there to capture the wedding details, which included hanging lighting and foliage, as well as a variety of tall and chunky candles, and black contrasting base plates on the tables.

Each guest found their seat by spotting their name, custom cut out of a perspex tag on each wine coloured wine glass.

The wedding reception dinner was sublime, and finished with an incredible wedding cake and dessert station by Sweet LionHeart, one of our favourite Cape Town wedding cake suppliers.

These custom monogrammed cookies were a beautiful and personalised way to treat guests.

This Cape Town wedding planner has a little bit of a sweet tooth so these cupcakes were an absolute dream, not to mention this five tired wedding cake!

After dessert it was time to hit the dance floor, and to make sure guests were dancing in comfort, they were gifted these fabulous dancing flip flops.

Just when this Cape Town wedding couldn’t get any better, a surprise performance from these African dancers took the celebrations to a whole new level!

It was an absolute pleasure planning and coordinating this Cape Town wedding!
