As a Cape Town Wedding Planner, I am spoilt for choice when it comes to beautiful venues available for weddings, corporate events, and all sorts of other functions. Our visit to the beautiful collection of Newmark Hotels at Cape Town’s V&A Waterfront was no exception and we have been so excited to share some pictures of this fabulous collection of venues.
Dockhouse Boutique Hotel
With our office based just around the corner from the V&A Waterfront, we were shocked to learn that such an exclusive boutique hotel was hidden in the array of seafront buildings at the Waterfront.
The Dockhouse Boutique Hotel is an exquisitely decorated gem, built in the 1800’s and still has it’s origional staircase.
The accommodation is top class and my favorite touch was that all the rooms we saw had opulant chandeliers hanging over the luxurious beds.
The hotel sits directly opposite the Waterfront’s Wheel of Excellence and offers a freshly manictured lawn for glass marques, perfect for hosting unforgetable weddings for discerning couples from around the world.
The Queen Victoria Hotel
We immediately just fell totally in love with this stunning hotel as soon as we walked in through the black marbled entrance hall.
After the entrace hall, the reception area is a striking modern, retro and asion fusion of whites, ruby-grape colours, and metal finishes. The jumbo bonsai tree in the centre is a desrving focal point of the incredible space.
The fabulous fusion décor concept followed through to the bedrooms that you just wouldn’t ever want to leave!
The V&A Hotel
The V&A Hotel’s wedding and conference venue, The Forum, is the perfect spot for corporate functions and conferences. We love the convenient proximity to both the Waterfront and the city bowl, as well as the versatility of this perfect space for hosting just about any type event.
Personally, I especially loved the interesting, yet unobtrusive art pieces in the space.
